Honest and direct – no middlemen, no filters

Ehrlich direkt – kein Zwischenhandel, kein Filter

Transparency isn't a trend, it's a promise. At Sarmakinas, you know where your oil comes from – and who's behind it. Our olives grow in Messinia, are harvested there, pressed , and bottled right there on site . The finished bottles then go to Vienna, where they go directly to restaurants, delicatessens, and people who want to know what they're putting on their plates.

We do without intermediaries, outer packaging, and complicated processes.
This ensures that our oil remains as honest as it was produced: clear, genuine, and unadulterated.

Why direct sales builds trust

In the world of olive oil, the journey is often long. Fruits from different regions are blended, batches are diluted, labels are changed – and in the end, nobody knows where the oil really comes from.

With us, it's different. We produce everything ourselves – from tree to bottle. Every bottle you receive comes from our own groves in Messinia. No buying in, no blending, no middlemen.

“From the tree to your kitchen – without detours.”

This short route means:

• More freshness , because our oil is bottled where it is produced,

• More control , because every bottle only leaves our premises when it is perfect,

• More trust because you know who is behind it.

Direct sales is not a business model for us, but an attitude: We want to work with people, not markets.

How we deliver at Sarmakinas

Our supply chain consists of two locations – nothing more:
Messinia and Vienna.

Everything that matters happens in Greece:
We harvest, press and fill each bottle ourselves – in small batches, under supervision and with maximum care.
From Messinia, the finished bottles go directly to Vienna, where they are stored and delivered to our partners and customers.

No wholesalers, no intermediate warehouses, no price or quality pressure.
This way we can guarantee that our oil arrives at your door exactly as we taste it in Greece: vibrant, fresh, and full of character.

And when a bottle is on its way, we know exactly where it comes from – and where it's going.

What transparency means to us

For us, transparency doesn't mean putting every detail on the website.
It means you can ask – and we'll answer honestly.
We showcase our groves, our press, and our team. We explain when we press, how much we produce, and why some years yield less than others.

We believe that trust can only be built when nothing is hidden.
That's why we also show what we are not: not an industrial producer, not a marketing project, not a retail label.
We are people who love olive oil – and sell it the way we enjoy it ourselves.

“We don't sell a story. We tell our own.”

Conclusion

For us, direct means: honest, tangible, authentic.
Between tree and kitchen there is no filter, no middleman, no compromise.
You get the oil exactly as we harvest, press and bottle it – with everything that makes it special: character, clarity, origin.

And that's precisely why sarmakinas don't just taste of olive oil.
It tastes like trust.
