From the tree to the bottle

Sarmakinas Erte, die Oliven kommen in die Waschung

The journey begins with the harvest.

When autumn arrives and the olives reach their ideal ripeness, the most intense time of the year begins for us: the harvest .

We harvest by hand – using hand-held shakers . No large machines, but targeted, gentle work with small tools. This protects the tree and keeps the fruit undamaged.

Our trees are old, often over 40 years old. They need care, not efficiency optimization. And that's exactly what we give them.

Pressing: Fresh every day

We work closely with our partner press – almost like an extension of our own grove.

Every day, the freshly harvested olives are pressed immediately. No intermediate storage, no delay. The oil then goes directly into our own tanks – under optimal conditions.

No mixed set

What makes us different?
We do not mix our oil with foreign batches or combined pressings.

Normally, all the olives of a day end up in the same tank – depending on the acidity level, regardless of origin or grove.
Not with us.

Our oil is our oil.
Every drop comes from our own trees – and that will remain the case.

Character, not compromise

You can taste this clarity:

  • in the fragrance
  • in taste
  • in consistency

It is not a standardized oil – it is an expression of origin, attitude and dedication.

🍈 “We press daily. We press fresh. We only press our own oil.”
